DC Appellate Court prepares to hear arguments that the stay of proceedings in the Yukos Case was “a clear abuse of discretion”

The stage is set. On 4 August 2021, Yukos Oil Co’s former shareholders – Hulley Enterprises Limited, Yukos Universal Limited and Veteran Petroleum Ltd ­– and the Russian Federation (“Russia”) filed their final appellate court briefs before the United States Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit.
