Delibest sends Chile pre-arbitration notice of dispute regarding bids to supply catering services in public schools

The Delibest Group has sent written notice to the Chilean Government of its intention to submit to arbitration a claim related to the non-payment of catering services rendered in public schools during the student riots that occurred in Santiago in October 2019, say local media T13 and Ex-Ante.

Such claim would be based on Chapter 10, Section B of the United States-Chile Free Trade Agreement, in force since 1 January 2004, which deals with Investor-State Dispute Settlement.
