Iran threatens Pakistan with USD 18 billion in penalties unless it completes southern pipeline by March 2024

Iran has warned Pakistan that if it does not complete its portion of the Iran-Pakistan (IP) gas pipeline by March 2024, Tehran will demand $18 billion in penalties in accordance with the terms of the parties’ 2010 agreement.
