Mexico threatens to scandalise U.S. company before international tribunals and the UN unless ICSID dispute settled

In a press conference on 3 February 2022, Mexican President López Obrador stated that his government was negotiating an agreement with the US company Legacy Vulcan to put an end to the arbitration proceedings instituted by the company in 2018 before the International Centre for Settlement of Investment Disputes (ICSID).
