Paris Court of Appeal affirms exequatur order concerning Arbitral Award against the Republic of Benin

On 11 January 2022, the Paris Court of Appeal (International Commercial Chamber) handed down a judgment affirming the President of the Tribunal de Grande Instance of Paris’ exequatur order of 24 May 2019. The exequatur order concerned a final arbitration award made in favour of Swiss SGS Société Générale de Surveillance SA (SGS) on 31 March 2019 against the Republic of Benin.
