Ruby River initiates arbitration after Canada rejects LNG project in Saguenay

American company Ruby River Capital LLC (Ruby River) has lodged a request for arbitration against Canada before the International Center for Settlement of Investment Disputes (ICSID), following the Canadian government’s refusal to authorise the project for the construction of a natural gas liquefaction plant and a marine terminal in Saguenay, Québec.
