SCC Tribunal declines jurisdiction over investment arbitration following Spain’s intra-EU jurisdictional objection

On 16 June 2022, a Stockholm Chamber of Commerce Arbitration Tribunal determined that it lacked jurisdiction to hear Green Power Partners and SCE Solar Don Benito’s claims for EUR 74 million in compensation following Spain’s alleged violation of the Energy Charter Treaty and international law.
