On 28 November 2022, the ICSID Arbitral Tribunal rendered an Award in Amir Masood Taheri v. United Arab Emirates (ICSID Case No. ARB/21/19). The Award embodied the parties’ settlement agreement, pursuant to ICSID Arbitration Rule 43(2), following their decision to discontinue the proceedings.
