Swedish-Iranian investor withdraws ICSID claims against the United Arab Emirates

On 28 November 2022,  the ICSID Arbitral Tribunal rendered an Award in Amir Masood Taheri v. United Arab Emirates (ICSID Case No. ARB/21/19). The Award embodied the parties’ settlement agreement, pursuant to ICSID Arbitration Rule 43(2), following their decision to discontinue the proceedings.
